We have drafted a 3D model based on Veolia ES's plans, drawings and illustrations. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/a609ef04-2cdc-47ed-8d51-d5ba53b8c324/Veolia-ESs-proposed-incinerator-facility-for-Rattys-Lane-Hoddesdon-UK" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">link
The basic purpose is to assist community groups to explore the scale and prominence of the proposed facility from any local or distant points of view.
P.S. on 1st May: We have added a 3D model of the business premises around Ratty's Lane plus the proposed incinerator plant. They are intentionally blank so that you can compare the scale and massing of the existing premises with the latter.
P.P.S. on 3rd May: A further example of a 3D visualisation in available on the web site of Gloucesteershire Vale Against Incineration (GlosVain) here. It consists of a video with voice-over, 3 minutes long, that depicts the incinerator proposed in 2015 for Javelin Park in Goucestershire. The visualisation demonstrates its monstrous scale by by touring around a 3D model that shows it alongside Gloucester's main landmarke, double-decker buses and human figures around the plant.
This is one of several videos by the GlosVain group, including a presentation here with a section of Visual Impact: (at 3 mins. 47 secs. to 4 mons. 52 secs.).
Also on the GlosVain web site are minutes of the Core Group's meetings, with initiatives for emissions monitoring and access to the Contract under Freedom of Information.
