Re-consultation on VES's planning application

Yesterday Herts. CC opened a public re-consultation on a slew of reports under 'Regulation 22' matters that queried many of  the original set of documents. This will run until Thursday 21st September 2017. If that is too short a timescale for your organisation, you are invited to notify HCC and ask for an extension (sooner rather than later please, so that other respondents can benefit from the timescale).

EA's Consultation towards Environmental Permit - closed

Yesterday the Environment Agency's consultation on Veolia ES'a application for an Environmental Permit closed. We submitted a comprehensive response to the permitting team in terms of the range of topics, without specialising in any of them. At the same time, we sent a copy to the planning support team of ES who are in correspondence with Veolia and with Herts. CC about VES's planning application. Household Waste Recycling Centre at Ware

Herts. CC are running a consultation on a proposal to redevelop and expand the centre to replace the inadequate facilities dating from the 1970s. This is part of a programme to enhance the HWRC network across the county. proposal, form (by today):

Eunomia House Band

On a lighter note, but with a serious message, the consultancy Eunolia have released this notice:

"Dirty Murph and the Kerbside Sorters – composed of some of Eunomia's musically talented staff – released their second album ‘Dark Side of the Bin’ with an appearance on Techno Trash, a waste themed show on Boston free radio. The band now has a strong U.S. fan base, and has even received an invitation to play Nevada's Burning Man festival."

Public Health England's Incinerator Health Study
